Your Phone Might Be The Cause Of Your Skin Issues

We have come to a point where our phone have become an extension of our bodies. Most of the time it is considered a life-saving device but the one million-dollar question remains: Is it skin friendly?

Let’s find out!

Is there actually anything like cell-phone acne?

Yes, there is; especially during the pandemic when there has been a significant increase in everyone’s screen time.

How to prevent cell-phone acne?

  1. Here is a quick fix to minimize skin-to-phone contact. Switch on your Bluetooth setting and hop on the earpiece bandwagon.
  2. If you can’t quite commit to an earpiece, make sure to clean your phone twice a day. You can clean your screen with cleansing wipes that contain water and alcohol to help clear your device of oil, makeup, and bacteria.
  3. If you’ve passed the preventative stage and already have a full-blown breakout, use a facial cleanser containing benzoyl peroxide, which uses oxygen to release build-up in pores and has antibacterial properties.
