My Skin Is Oily; Should I Use a Particular Sunscreen?

If there is one product that is essential in your skincare routine, it is sunscreen, it will not only help prevent sun damage such as sunspots, wrinkles, or premature aging, but it will also help prevent skin cancer, the most common cancer in the world. It is important to remember to use your sunscreen, not only when you are doing outdoor activities but even when you are indoors, and reapply every couple of hours.

My Skin Is Oily; Should I Use a Particular Sunscreen?

When you suffer from oily skin, choosing which products to use on your skin can be a headache because most of the time, it will just leave your skin with a sticky and shiny consistency.

What is the most recommended sunscreen if I have oily skin?

In addition to protecting you from sun exposure, the product should be hypoallergenic and oil-free. Choose the sunscreen that is gel or water-based or indicate on the label that they are mattifying; otherwise, you will end up with a shiny appearance.

If you choose to use a heavy or greasy product, it is likely that you will clog your pores and cause an acne reaction. Be wary of products that indicate they have organic filters, which is likely to cause an unwanted reaction.
