How to care for fine hair.

If you have fine hair, you likely find it challenging to give it volume, and it gets dirty very quickly.

These are, without a doubt, the two main disadvantages of this type of hair, which often takes on a flat, straight look and makes it challenging to keep a hairstyle in place for a whole day.

But although you obviously can’t change its condition, there are certain tricks that experts have up their sleeves to make it thicker at the time of styling.

Similarly, certain cosmetics can help us, both when washing and styling, but there are also some mistakes you may be making when caring for it or even when choosing a haircut.

What is fine hair?

They are characterized by the hair without much volume, giving the sensation of flattened hair. They tend to get dirty very quickly, especially in the frontal area and roots.

Once this is clear, it is time to solve these problems.

Can thin hair be thickened?

Yes and no. That is that yes, we can thicken these hairs, but we must be clear that it is a momentary effect; that is, as soon as we wash the hair, this effect will disappear, and it will return to its original thickness.

At least, this will facilitate occasional styling, for which they confirm that they are certain specific products for this type of hair that do help us create the sensation of thickening.

To do this, the most obvious option is to use a styling spray to give volume and body to the hair, but it should be a specific product for fine hair. Also, it is recommended is to use dry shampoo.

When and how to wash fine hair?

This type of hair gets dirty quickly, so they require more regular washing, almost daily with specific products for them, but does this mean that it should be washed every day?

Experts recommend alternating one day of washing and another day of using dry shampoo because if we wash it every day, in the end, the hair gives the feeling that it gets dirty quickly and requires continuous washing.

Using dry shampoo will allow us to space them out a little more.

Regarding the cosmetics to use for washing and treatment (conditioner and a mask once or twice a week), they stress the importance of using products specially formulated for fine hair.
