Home Remedies To Treat Dry Scalp

Dry scalp is a major issue in the summer season because of the humid environmental condition and the sweating issue. It not only damages your hair but also makes you pass through an uncomfortable and itchy condition. Sometimes the harsh ingredients in our hair products can also be the cause of dry and itchy scalp. Sometimes, something as simple as washing your hair every day or not drinking enough water can be the cause.   

 Tea tree oil: In our previous articles, we have explained the wondrous effects of tea tree oil on both our skin and hair. It has strong antifungal and antiseptic properties that will prevent your scalp from all symptoms of dry scalp.  How to use it? You can use it by mixing it with other oils like olive oil or coconut oil in equal proportions. Apply the mixture of oil to your scalp and massage for five minutes. Let it stay for 10 minutes and then wash your hair with shampoo. Repeat this twice a week to get the most effective results.
