Sunburn is an inflammatory response by the skin when the skin gets exposed to UV radiation from the sun for a more extended period without any protection. Staying out of the sun and protecting your skin from the harmful rays of the sun is the best thing that you can do to your skin to keep it youthful for a long time. Unfortunately, no shortcut is available to heal your sunburn, but you can do certain things consistently to reduce the discomfort. 

To treat sunburn and reduce the pain, you can do the following remedies:

  1. Moisturize your skin well:

Moisturizing your skin well will benefit you the most when encountering sunburn. You can use any available moisturizer, but organic moisturizer will heal you sooner. Research studies have proved aloe vera to be an effective moisturizer to treat your sunburnt skin.

  1. Using pain reliever medicine to reduce inflammation:

The medication that helps relieve pain and inflammation is called “Analgesics.” These medicines are safe to be used in case the skin is affected by sunburn and is inflamed and infected.

  1. Tries to stay hydrated:

Hydration is one thing that can nourish your skin well. If your skin is adequately hydrated, the skin cells are less prone to sunburn. So drink at least eight glasses of water every day.
