DIY Face Masks for Dry Skin

It’s almost that time of the year with Christmas trees, hot chocolate and all the goodies winter brings along. It’s also that time of the year when our skin can get so dry due to the cold weather so today, we’re bringing you a few DIY face masks for dry skin you can use during the cold season.

Your skin is prone to get dry during winter months because when humidity drops and the air is cold and dry, the water in your skin can quickly evaporate. When this happens, your skin feels tight, dry and can also become flaky. Some people call this winter skin, because during winter your skin loses 25% or more of its ability to hold moisture.

Winter cold is not the only cause of dry skin. Not drinking enough water, long baths and hot showers, indoor heat, not eating the right food and some clothes can cause your skin to dry too. It’s important that you constantly take care of your skin and this list of DIY face masks for dry skin will help you with this.
