Coconut Oil for Skin Whitening (Lightening): Does it Work?

Shea Butter and Coconut oil for Skin Lightening

Things Required:

  • Coconut oil,
  • Baking soda,
  • lemon juice and
  • shea butter.

How to Do:

  • This home remedy can be prepared using three tablespoons of butter, one tablespoon of coconut oil, and 2 tablespoons of baking soda.
  • Heat this mix in a pan and allow it to blend. Take it off the heat and let it cool. Add the juice of a half lemon.
  • Apply it on your skin and leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off with cool water.

Best Time to Apply: At night.

No of Repetitions: Once every day.

Coconut Oil and Baking Soda for Skin Lightening

Things Required:

  • Coconut oil,
  • Baking soda,
  • Tea tree oil, and
  • lemon juice

How to Do:

  • Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of lemon juice, 4 drops of tea tree oil, and a one-eight teaspoon of coconut oil.
  • Stir well for making a fine paste.
  • Apply it on the skin and allow it to sit for 4 minutes.
  • Scrub with your fingers and rinse with water.

Best Time to Apply: In evening.
