  1. Cleanser: Wash your face 1 to 2 times per day with a gentle cleanser having pH balancing properties. Harsh cleansers disrupt the skin barrier, creating more problems than they solve. Don’t forget to double cleanse if you’ve been wearing makeup or sunscreen.
  2. Treatment: Different treatment options exist for acne. Popular ones include salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and retinol. Salicylic acid is amazing for acne prone skin. It works by helping dead skin cells shed off more easily. It acts faster than retinol and is less irritating for the skin than benzoyl peroxide.
  3. Exfoliate:

It’s important not to over-exfoliate your skin, especially if your skin is sensitive and breakout-prone, so this step should only be done twice a week. A clay mask or homemade facial can be used to avoid inflammation.

  1. Moisturizer: Hydrated skin is healthy skin and healthy skin is better able to heal and fight breakouts, so don’t skip this vital step. Use a gel-cream textured moisturizer which focuses on hydration and don’t be tempted to use anything that’s loaded with “acne-fighting” ingredients – your skin has already got these from your serum and doesn’t need overloading. To apply your night cream, massage generously all over your face and neck.
  2. SPF: UV rays can aggravate acne and post  So definitely don’t forget SPF in the morning, especially if you’re going to be out in the sun. Sunscreen helps like a physical screen to damage radiations of sun to your skin. Thus protect it from tanning and permanent damage.
