Are these changes normal in our skin?

We see numerous changes reflected in our skin as we age, some of which are a bit uncomfortable or unwanted. Some are related to aging itself, others to traumatic injuries, and others to hormonal changes, but they are all normal at the end of the day.

Are these changes normal in our skin?

Here is a list of these conditions that even if we don’t like them very much, they will be part of our normal skin:

  • Darker or pigmented lips: Some people complain about this change of color, but it can be expected in darker skin.
  • Blue veins: Are common in people with light skin color; mostly, you will find them in the breast and chest. During pregnancy and breastfeeding are more common.
  • Open pores Are more noticeable in people with oily skin. We can try some techniques and products to improve their appearance; however, most of the time, they will remain.
  • Cellulite: Creates an irregular surface and dimpling in the skin, giving an unwanted look, which is more common in women.
  • Facial asymmetry: No one is symmetrical, but some are more than others. To improve this, dermal fillers can be used to treat cheeks, lips, and jawline contour.
  • Linea Nigra: It is the darker color line that can be seen across the abdomen during pregnancy, and about 75% of women will develop during this period.
  • Stretch marks: This is produced when the skin is stretching. On occasions is genetic; other times, it is made by fast skin stretching.
