Raise your hand if you have combination skin type and you find it difficult to deal with it at times. I hear you, ladies. Because that’s exactly how my skin behaves. The toughest thing with combination skin is deciding whether it needs a hydrating product or an oil-controlling product. Sometimes, my skin gets completely dry, leaving flaky patches and at times it gets as oily as a frying pan.

After years of experimenting on my skin, I have reached a conclusion about some ingredients. Believe me when I say befriend yoghurt if you have combination skin. Full-fat yoghurt has been my combination skin’s biggest saviour, especially during the lockdown when my skin started to break out and look dull. Here are the three face packs you can whip up using yoghurt as one of the key ingredients.

Yoghurt And Honey: For Brightening And Hydration

This face pack will give you brighter skin while making it soft and supple. The lactic acid in yoghurt will gently work as a peel, revealing brighter skin, while honey is a natural moisturiser. Also, honey’s anti-inflammatory properties help in skin healing too.

Ingredients:

Full-fat Yoghurt: 1 tbsp
Honey: 1/2 tsp

Method

• Mix the two and apply the paste on a cleansed face.
• Let it sit for 15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.

It will give your skin a natural sheen. Seal the moisture with a face serum.
