Hot and sweaty seasons demand extraordinary makeup so that it won’t run down. But water-resistant mascara is not a good option. Let’s find out the reason behind it.

Mascara is one of those beauty products that effortlessly add glam to your looks. It is part of every makeup look. There are many concerns with the non-water-resistant mascaras, and many women tend to opt for water-resistant ones that could stay all day long. Experts say that one should not be choosing water-resistant eyelash mascara.
Reasons behind this opinion are:
Harsh on our eyelashes:
Our eyelashes are made of fine and delicate hair, but water-resistant mascara has a strong formula. It prevents moisture and hydration from reaching eyelashes. As a result, they are more dry and brittle and eventually fall out.
Difficult to remove:
Even if you use eye makeup removers, water-resistant mascaras are very difficult to remove. Even after trying very harsh rubbing, it tends to still leave leftovers.

Promotes bacterial growth:
Because of incomplete removal, they stay on eyelashes and become a cause of bacterial growth and eye infections.
Not fit for daily use:
Because of its harsh formula, damaging effects on eyelashes, and difficulty to remove, it is not suitable for everyday use.
