What Does Exercise Do For The Skin?

Working out will not only make your body stronger, but it will also give you healthier-looking skin.

How?

As we all know, exercise increases blood circulation in our bodies. With better blood flow, more oxygen and nutrients can reach our skin. An improvement in the blood flow can also help in promoting collagen synthesis, skin cell renewal, and wound healing.

Imagine a pipe that gets clogged with filth after a couple of years, and the only way to unclog it is by increasing water pressure within the pipe to wash it all off.

The same goes for our vessels. We need to improve the flow of our blood to push out all unnecessary waste. By doing so, you are able to flush out factors that are contributing to slower skin repair, acne, and what not.

Exercise does not do the actual “detox” because it’s our liver that does most of  the work.  It helps in delivering oxygen and nutrients all over our body Which in return, improves the function of our systems including our skin.

And of course, when you are clean inside, it will show on the outside.

Don’t worry about your sweat triggering your blackheads and pimples. Sweat alone should not be a problem for it can actually push out impurities. Just make sure that your skin is clean before and after a workout so that it does not accumulate dirt.
