The purpose of toners is to moisturize, refresh and balance the pH of your skin, but at the same time, some of them can improve pigmentation. Toner should be a must of our basic skincare routine, just like the cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen; however, some people choose just to skip it.
One of the first steps is to know your skin type, choose the most suitable ingredients, and always look for good quality and freshness. Here are some DIY toners that you can make with super easy to get ingredients:
Rose Water Toner

This is one of the most common and with the most benefits. Not only does it cleanse your skin, but it can control excess oil and improve acne. All you have to do is pulverize rose petals and boil them with water for about seven minutes. Then you should strain it and store it in a spray bottle, always apply the rose water after you clean your face.
Rice Water Tonic

Rice water has anti-inflammatory properties, soothing, and improves the appearance of your pores. You will only need 200mL of distilled water and 100 grams of white rice. Let the rice stand with the water for 30 minutes, strain it and let it stand again in the refrigerator.
