1.Epsom Salt As A Blackhead Remover
Epsom salt is a cheap product that can be purchased almost anywhere, and is used for a wide array of things, from relaxing muscles to feeding plants. However, did you know that it can be used for your face? Yes, Epsom salt is an effective blackhead remover.
To try this method, mix one cup of boiling water with one teaspoon of Epsom salt and three drops of iodine. Let the mixture cool until you are comfortable, and then soak a cotton ball in it. Dab the cotton ball on the blackheads to loosen them enough to squeeze out with a gauze pad.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar As A Shine Booster
Once a week, do an apple cider vinegar rinse on your hair for extreme shine.
Before you get out of the shower, simply pour apple cider vinegar on your hair (make sure you tilt your head back as vinegar does not feel good in your eyes). Work it through with your fingers for a few minutes and then rinse. Don’t worry, when your hair dries, you will not be able to smell any vinegar, and you will have extremely soft and shiny hair.
This works because the acidity in vinegar neutralizes the pH balance of your hair, and shuts down the cuticle, making the hair strand smooth.
3. Knox Gelatin As A Peel-Off Face Mask
To make your own peel-off face-mask, mix 1 tbsp of Knox unflavored gelatin with 1 1/2 tbsp of milk in a plastic cup. Microwave for 10-15 seconds and then immediately apply to face with a popsicle stick.
Once it has dried completely, peel it off to reveal baby-smooth skin.
4. Deodorant As An Anti-Chafe Cream
If you have ever worn short shorts on a hot summer day, you probably know how miserable chafing is. A quick tip is to rub some deodorant on your thighs where they rub together and Voila! No more chafing.
