Pumice stone: A simple remedy to treat many skin conditions

Almost everybody has a pumice stone in their house and maybe what you don’t know is that you can use it for other things besides exfoliation. Pumice stones are volcanic stones often used in the beauty industry, and they address multiple concerns, including pigmentation and removing dead skin.

Not only is the pumice stone one of the most affordable beauty tools, but it is also easy to find, and it doesn’t require any special requirements to store it.

Here we mention the simple ways to use a pumice stone to treat many skin conditions:

  • Treating pigmentation: Pigmentation in areas like underarms, groin, knees, and elbow can be treated. You can use it to perform a mechanical exfoliation in those areas, and you must always apply moisturizer after exfoliating
  • Removing hair: It is hard to believe, but the pumice stone is able to remove hair; you just need to rub it while doing circular movements, this will not only remove your hair, but it will also increase your blood circulation in the area.
  • Exfoliation: It is the main function of the pumice stone, mainly in elbows, knees, heels, and underarms. Never do it with your skin completely dry; always keep your skin moist before starting the exfoliation.
