How to Hide Leg Veins?

Prominent bluish veins on your legs can make you self-conscious or under-confident. Let’s discuss how you can hide them.

Swollen or enlarged leg veins are called varicose veins. Although it is more common in older age, this condition can also affect pregnant or obese women. But having a family history of varicose veins can make you develop these even if you are not overweight. They actually develop when blood is trapped in small vessels and make them feel swollen or enlarged. There are mainly two approaches for hiding them:

Covering the leg veins:

Covering or hiding the leg veins is one of the easiest and fastest ways to reduce their appearance.

Body concealers:

By applying concealer, just like how you cover blemishes on your face, you can cover varicose veins too. Apply it over the area with more prominence and blend evenly. Make sure the concealer suits your complexion correctly.

Self-tan:

A self-tanning lotion can also help cover those veins. However, unlike concealer, make sure you apply it evenly to get complete coverage.

Minimize the swollen leg veins:

Though, it is a better and long-term approach to treat the swollen leg veins. It will also reduce if there is any discomfort associated with them.

Compression stockings:

Wearing compression stockings daily can help improve blood circulation and reduce the appearance of swollen veins.
