Foot Soaks at Home to Keep Your Feet Healthy

Not only is a foot soak a relaxing way to end your day, but it can moisturize, exfoliate, and treat athlete’s foot. Depending on what your foot needs, you can easily make one at home.

Athletes Foot Soak

Epsom salt is a compound that consists of magnesium and sulfate. Soaking your feet in one can fight fungal infections present in an athlete’s foot and relieve the itchiness that comes with it.

Not only that. It can prevent bacteria from lurking in your feet. It can also relieve muscle cramps, and ease gout attacks

All you need is to mix 10 drops of tea tree oil, 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt, and 10 drops of peppermint oil into warm water.

Soak for at least 20 to 25 minutes.

ACV Soak

Its another great life hack that’s cheap and very feasible.

Vinegar has antibacterial and antifungal properties that can address feet problems causing itchiness, discomfort, and foul smell.

It can also exfoliate dead skin cells and make your skin a lot softer.

All you need is to mix 1 part of vinegar with 2 parts of water.

Lemon Soak

If you want a soak to address thick calluses, this might be the one for you.

All you need is to mix 2 tbsp baking soda, 3 cups of warm water, and half lemon juice.

Soak your feet for 30 minutes and seal them with a moisturizer to keep the water locked in longer.
