Foods That Make Your Cellulite Worse

If you have ever heard that you are what you eat, then believe it. It is true that your eating habits and food choices cause a direct impact on your body and appearance.  Just like other issues, cellulite is also affected by what you eat. Let’s discuss which foods can worsen this condition.

Products with high glycemic index:

Simple carbohydrates such as refined white bread, white rice, white potatoes, breakfast cereals with refined carbohydrates and added sugars are a high glycemic index. They make cellulite worse. You need to avoid these products and swap them with healthier food groups such as brown rice, whole wheat bread, etc.

Products with high salt content:

Packaged and canned products, such as canned soups, cottage cheese, etc., are usually loaded with salts. Even though they have a healthy reputation, salts in them make water stay in your body; this makes cellulite more apparent. Try a variety of food products that has no added salts in them.

To help you improve that dimpled cellulite, opt for food products that increase hydration, have high antioxidant content, and flush out toxins from your body.
