Everything You Need To Know About Post-Acne Hyperpigmentation

  1. Retinols:

Retinols are vitamin A derivatives. These work by going deep beneath your skin to even out skin tone and texture and also known as definite treatment for aging skin.

  1. Chemical peel:

For post acne hyperpigmentation, chemical peels work by reducing the appearance of dark spots as they peel off epidermis that contains dead skin and if spots are much deeper, then you need to visit a dermatologist for professional peel application.

  1. Niacinamide:

Niacinamide is a Niacin (Vitamin B3) derivative. Its ability to aid in water retention and increased

collagen production and replenishes the dead skin with spotless healthy skin if used for at least 8 weeks day and night.

  1. Kojic acid:

Kojic Acid is considered a natural bleaching agent. It’s often used for dark aging spots, so it works best for brown-colored pigmentation from acne for dark tone skin.
